Matt Jones has gone from being a 3-time cancer conqueror, to surviving a bone marrow transplant, to relearning how to walk, to completing 7 Marathons on 7 Continents, and yes that includes Antarctica! Currently, he is training for his next "Marathon" which is climb Mt. Kilimanjaro.
Matt is a world class professional speaker and author. He is committed to inspiring audiences and delivering strategies to help organization thrive in the midst of adversity and excel to new heights of performance. He hold as BA in Communication, MLS in Liberal Studies with an emphasis in Organizational Leadership, and is pursuing his doctorate in Organizational Leadership.
Matt strives to be a thought leader who offers solutions to the problems individuals and organizations face. Jason has previously had served as Chief Operating Officer of ABF Logistics®, an ArcBest℠ company, from January 2015 to July 2016. He was President of the Albert Companies, an ArcBest subsidiary, since 2004 where he led Albert’s moving and storage brands that serve customers in the consumer, corporate account and government segments. Before joining ArcBest, he held several leadership positions with POCO Graphite Inc., leading numerous quality and change management initiatives.
He has served on several trade association boards and committees and with nonprofit organizations and has earned a bachelor’s degree in industrial management from Northwestern State University and a master’s degree in business administration from North Texas University.

Ross Carmichael graduated from the University of California, Santa Barbara in 2000 with a bachelor’s degree in history. He played professional basketball in Europe before returning to Texas and attending Texas Wesleyan University School of Law (now Texas A&M University School of Law.)
In 2008, Carmichael became an investigator with the Department of Labor’s EmployeeBenefits Security Administration, leading its Dallas Regional Oil & Gas Project and its HIPAA and Affordable Care Act Compliance Project. In his time at the DOL, Carmichael received the Secretary of Labor’s Exceptional Achievement Award for his work on the Health Disclosure and Claims Issues Project.
Since joining Higginbotham, Carmichael has presented before hundreds of employers and participated in numerous panels for various business organizations throughout Texas. He has been interviewed by CBS News and the New York Times, and he also helps represent Higginbotham on the National Association of Health Underwriter’s Principal Council.
Carmichael is a member of the American Bar Association, State Bar of Texas, Tarrant County Bar Association and Tarrant County Young Lawyers Association.
